In Children’s Ministry Magazine, Christine Yount Jones wrote, “Preteens just don’t fit in ministries not made for them… plain and simple, they’re an age all their own. They think differently, act differently, relate differently, and learn differently. Spiritually they’re ready for something deeper than children’s ministry, but aren’t quite ready to be exposed to some of the tough truths of youth ministry.” (Children’s Ministry Magazine, Jan/Feb 2007)
We believe strongly in this, and that’s why STUDIO 56 is the place where preteens are the stars of God’s story! The goals of STUDIO 56 are to lead students into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; realizing that He is their savior and best friend, and to give preteens the tools they need to move them from their parent’s faith to a place where they can take ownership of their own relationship with Christ and grow in their personal walk.
