Julisa Mizner
Redeemed and Restored

“He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”
About Julisa: Julisa Mizner is a Bible teacher, speaker, and women’s ministry leader who is passionate about helping women walk in freedom from guilt and shame through the transforming truth of God’s Word.
Raised in a Christian home, Julisa entered a season of prodigal living that left her weary, anxious, and searching for something more. In 2021, during a women’s Bible study, the truth of Colossians 1:13–14 came alive in a deeply personal way, and she encountered the redeeming grace of Jesus. In that moment, the weight of guilt and shame was lifted, and her heart began a journey of restoration rooted in Christ’s mercy and righteousness.
Today, Julisa shares her story to remind women that redemption is real, restoration is possible, and grace has the final word. Through her teaching ministry, she helps women discover the freedom that comes from embracing their identity in Christ.
Julisa holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and brings years of professional experience as a former Director of Finance in both public and private accounting. She is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Women’s Ministry & Leadership and Messianic Jewish Studies. She has served as a Stephen Ministry Minister and is actively involved in Women’s Bible Study and Phenom Bible Study at People’s Church.
Julisa is married and the mother of three grown children. She treasures her roles as wife and mother alongside her ministry calling.

Each quarter we highlight a ministry or need in our community to support through 9 to 5 for Christ.
This quarter we would like to supply some of the needs of Turning Point USA.
This organization has recently expanded to thousands of high schools and college campuses.
We can help them as they meet with these students by helping supply some of the following:
- Me N Ed’s and Little Caesar gift cards
- Walmart and Target gift cards
- Monetary donations (Make checks payable to “TPUSA”)

Doors open at 5:30 and we encourage you to come early to visit the vendors booths. So much fun!
Special Note: WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN US AS A VENDOR?
We ask our vendors to bring 3 gifts valued at $10 or more each for our raffle drawings and pay in advance for your dinner. You will have a few minutes to tell us about your business or ministry, and we will have a 6′ table available for you to put your items on that you are selling.
