Nancy’s story of childhood trauma and years of unanswered questions, revealing how God never abandoned her—even in her darkest moments. Through stories of divine intervention, music, scripture, and unexpected “God appointments,” she shows how He speaks hope into overwhelming seasons, often through ordinary people speaking truth in love. As Joseph declared in Genesis, what others meant for harm, God uses for good.
ABOUT NANCY
Nancy Wright is the author of A Long Way Back to Me: A Memoir of Secrets, Survival, and Forgiveness. In this inspiring memoir, she shares her journey from trauma to healing and how God’s protection guided her through life’s darkest seasons. Nancy spent 23 years in education as a physical education teacher and elementary school counselor and coached competitive swimming for more than 30 years. She later returned to real estate, where she has over 18 years of experience helping families achieve their goals. Nancy and her husband of 48 years moved back close to where they grew up. They enjoy traveling to visit their two daughters and five grandchildren and watching them in all their activities.
