July 14, 2020

It was so much fun and such an amazing blessing seeing so many of you and worshiping with you last Sunday morning! It was great being under the same roof….TOGETHER!

Unfortunately, as you have probably already heard, Governor Newsom issued an order Monday mandating that all indoor worship services be cancelled. Hey, our one week was phenomenal.

Don’t despair, we have a plan!

Effective immediately we will meet as follows:

Sunday Mornings:

7:30 – 8:15 a.m. – Church service in the courtyard (wear a mask, bring your own chair and coffee or water)

10:00 – 11:00 a.m. – Livestream ONLINE ONLY (service will continue to be streamed on our website, Facebook and YouTube)

Wednesday evenings:

7:30 – 8:15 p.m. – Worship on the lawn (wear a mask and bring your own chair)

There are several who have stated that they are more comfortable in outdoor gatherings and won’t be comfortable coming to indoor services for quite some time. This new shutdown may actually be a blessing in disguise! I believe that more of us will be in actual face to face, mask to mask, proximity this way than if we would have continued meeting together in one service inside.

We will be careful to practice proper social distancing and as we have said, we’ll be wearing masks.

I know that many are not yet comfortable being around anyone anywhere. That’s OK, join us online every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m.

I’m genuinely excited about all that God is doing in the lives of Northparkers! What Satan has intended for harm, has backfired on him.

God is in control!

God is good!

God has a plan!

And I’ve read the Bible – we win in the end!

Make it a great day, and I hope to see many of you on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
