THIS MONTH’S SPEAKER
Please join us in welcoming our speaker:
Jody Hudson
“The Blessing of Surrender: Letting Go and Letting God“
The more you resist what’s happening to you, the more you suffer. We must let go of our need to control and have faith that God’s plans are better for us. Jody will share her story on letting go and letting God.
Bible Verse – Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Each month we highlight a ministry in our community and ask our ladies attending to join us in providing some of the needs of the highlighted ministry.
Our Second Quarter Ministry (April, May & June): This quarter we are excited to partner with “Loving and Leading Others” (LALO)
Loving and Leading Others (LALO) is a compassionate nonprofit organization based in Fresno, California. Established as a 501c3 by Elsa and her husband Rodolfo, LALO focuses on empowering women and children affected by HIV. Recognizing the disproportionate impact of HIV on women and works closely with them to provide support and resources to uplift their lives.
At the heart of LALO’s mission is a commitment to fostering self-worth and empowerment through biblical teachings and practical skills training. The organization offers programs that equip women with skills such as sewing, embroideries, and beauty salon techniques, enabling them to achieve financial independence and stability.
One of LALO’s significant achievements is the establishment of a ministry home in Ethiopia, providing a safe haven for women and children in need. This initiative reflects LALO’s dedication to extending its impact beyond local communities and reaching those in vulnerable situations globally.
Needs:
- The biggest need is cash for a new pump for water
Other ongoing needs are:
- Threads for embroideries
- Scissors to cut fabric
- Measurement tapes
- Anything to do with sewing that is small/light enough for traveling
Anyone who brings a donation or donates towards this ministry will have their name entered in a drawing to win a beautiful patriotic quilt made by Pamela Alexander.
